Our journey so far...

We first opened Ralph & Kacoo’s in 1969 on a marshy bend of the old Mississippi called False River. It instantly became a popular place for locals as well as visitors to the area's busy fishing camps. The fame spread with the speed of an alligator snapping its jaws shut. Ralph & Kacoo’s seafood restaurants soon dotted the landscape across the Southeastern United States.

1969 - Ralph & Kacoo’s seafood restaurant opens in Baton Rouge and Bossier City
2004 - Ralph & Kacoo’s seafood restaurant opens in Lufkin, Texas

Our awards since 1969 are too numerous to list, but we will tell you we’ve been voted "The Best Cajun Seafood in Louisiana" and listed in "Top 100 Places to dine in America". That’s our story. Come by one of our locations and tell us yours!
